Core Function as a Senior System Administrator:

• Design, install and configure servers, network devices and firewalls
• Manage, maintain and upgrade server, network and firewall systems.
• Help develop, document, communicate, and enforce a network policy.
• Maintain inventory and asset configuration of the University computer system
• Provide mentorship and train team members on existing and new technologies
• Monitor system performance, health of the system operations, and storage utilization
• Work with other divisions at the technical level, as needed.
• Provide technical support related to the multiple computer systems, networks and telephony.
• Perform maintenance and upgrade during off-hours and provide on call computer systems support
